Used in Victorian times to hold a ladies Muff (hand warmer). Or Guard, used by Mothers and Nanny's to hang baby's rattle, scissors etc from. They were normally around 60" in length, but a popular size at the moment is 30", so i split them. Fully tested and guaranteed for Solid Gold. The colour is a nice Brown (Yellow Gold) like you only get with these older chains.

The fastener is fixed into the link allowing you to hang a pendant from it. The chain is long enough to easily slip over your head. Should you wish me to alter it so it can be used as a normal chain fastener then i can do that for you. I don't get many of these turn up, but i do know exactly what i will get for them, so be quick at this price. Most end up with our cousins in the USA.
