Fantastic condition 9ct Rose Gold Antique Muff Or Guard Chain. Late Victorian 9ct rose gold muff chain set with oval cabochon turquoise totalling a length of 40inches. This will easily go around the neck twice and of course looks stunning.

A later period bolt ring fastener is fitted though this is also of an antique period Edwardian? This is quite a substantial chain with a weight of 19 grams.

The gauge of the chain is 2.25 x 1.3mm. Each Turquoise cabochon is approximately 6.6 x 5.1mm. As can be seen in the pictures the colour of the stones vary from light to dark. This antique chain is suitable for everyday wear or to be enjoyed in a collection. Period stamped 9ct on the fastener, chain acid tested guaranteed 9carat gold. It is quite common for Victorian jewellery not to carry hallmarks as it was not compulsory.
