The huge round faceted amethyst is not only a good colour but 1.6 cm in diameter and claw set. The beautiful tear drop amethyst at he bottom of the drop is almost 2 cm in length and also claw set.

The gold is hall marked on the edge of the round amethyst setting - it is 9 ct rose gold - this is indeed a high quality piece with it's huge amethysts and high gold content. The amethyst centre piece measures 7 cm from the top of the round amethyst to the bottom of the tear drop amethyst. On the gold bar between the two amethysts are two leaf like features with 2 seed pearls a piece, so 4 little seed pearls in all. The gold chain is a fine curb link with a solid gold catch. The length of the chain is 43 cm when done up.
