This pendant is hung with a silver chain, which although not gold suits the jewel. This is a most unusual mix of metals, but gives the jewel a real sparkle! These colours were first adopted in C1900 and the colours represent G reen for Hope, W hite for purity and V iolet for dignity. Is made up in 9ct yellow gold and highlighted by silver to the upper portions. The stones are a mix of sparkling multi-faceted crystals in sparkling peridot, amethyst & white, with a central real amethyst. The pendant is decorated with an array of seed pearls. The overall affect is one of great charm. The pendant is not stamped, but tests as 9ct. The necklace has a richly decorated bale and is supplied with a silver chain. The pendant measures 1.75 in length and is 1.50 wide. The chain is 17.0'' long and has a good safety clasp. The jewel has an outstanding period patina and has been well loved in the past. Is a period presentation box and is charming. It is in tooled taupe faux leather with a cream velvet pad and a plush satin interior. It has an excellent hidden clasp and hinge. It is in excellent vintage condition 2 and shows minor age related wear to both interior and exterior, but is very serviceable.

This item is in vintage condition 1. There is no damage to any of the components apart from surface scratching to the. Glass crystals and some age related delamination to the metal work including minor marking. The chain is in good order.
